June's Newsletter

Aloha to the month of June. In Hawaiian we say Lune (eee-ooh-neh). This month is going to be fun as we gear up for are next couple of big events. Also we have several graduates that we would like to mention as well. Last month we finished off May with a bang, as all of our dancers got to perform at our Showcase. With great help from our sponsors and vendors, this event would not have been such a success.

Showcase

The Heali'i showcase took place at Patrick Henry High School's Amphitheater on May 13th, 2023. This performance was a great way to prepare all of our students for what is to come on August 19th, 2023. Our show consisted of all of our classes perpetuating dances from Hawaii, Samoa, New Zealand, and Tahiti.

This June we are gearing up for a fun summer! Before we talk about our upcoming events, we must acknowledge our graduates from high school and college. Our 'ohana is very proud of all of the 2023 graduating class. We wish you all nothing but the best!!! Make sure to continue to stay humble and to stay true to who you are.
